On Tuesday, Arseniy Yatseniuk, Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and Benita Ferrero-Waldner, European Commissioner for External Relations and European Neighbourhood Policy, discussed the Agreement on Simplified Visa Regime between Ukraine and the EU, and the activity of the Monitoring Committee on Implementation of the said Agreement.
The Chairman of The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine stated the abovementioned at the press conference devoted to the results of his one-day working visit to Brussels (Kingdom of Belgium).
According to A.Yatseniuk, the European Commission endorsed setting up the said Committee. He stated that the Monitoring Committee on Implementation of the Agreement on Simplified Visa Regime with the EU would launch its work in the next month.
